notwithstanding that the terms of the relevant kule of
Court (Order XI kule 9) are similar to those of the
corresponding rule in force in Hong Kong which are cited
in the enclosure in your above-mentioned letter, I am to
express the hope that Sir Philip Cunliffe-Lister may see
his way to return the accompanying documents to Hong Kong
with an intimation that they should now be served on the
person for whom they are intended without requiring the
production of the letter of request which the rules
contemplate.
